With it's beautiful wooden chalets Verbier still has a traditional alpine village feel yet offers a surprisingly wide range of shops, bars, restaurants and clubs all conveniently located around the Place Central.
The village sits on a South west facing hanging plateau at 1500m and is bathed in sunshine from dawn till dusk. It can be cool in the evenings when the sun goes down but the village quickly heats up through the day perfect for spending the day at the local outdoor pool.
We are happy to book you a table at one of Verbiers numerous eateries. The village has a huge number of places to choose from ranging from simple pizzas, traditional Swiss cuisine through to sushi and haute cuisine.
During your day out, enjoy a stop at the mountain restaurants where you will taste delicious local food served outside on the terrace with stunning views.
Verbier continually hosts worldclass summer events, the most noticable to date being the Tour de France in 2009. Every year the resort is proud to organise the famous Verbier Festival along other major sport competitions (horseridding, running, mountain biking) .

It is easily accessible from Geneva airport, where transfer time by car is approximately 1 hour 45 minutes, as well as the smaller regional airport of Sion, which is only 45 minutes from Verbier by car. Bern and Milan airports are also within a 3 hour drive.
There are numerous options on transfer vehicles to and from the airport. We can arrange a mini-bus, taxi, or chauffeur driven service at your request. These need to be pre-booked well in advance to guarantee availability (prices on application).
For the ultimate in convenience fly by private jet into SION airport, from there you can be whisked to the resort within 45 minutes.
You can also get to Verbier by train, with a regular mountain service from Geneva airport via Martigny arriving in Le Chable (bottom of the hill). From here you can catch a bus, take a taxi or jump on the bubble lift into the resort.
Geneva has excellent rail links from numerous European centres and there is direct train from Paris to Martigny only 25 minutes from the resort.
